New Video: Chrisette Michele – Charades

Chrisette Michele is officially back and she doesn’t have time for games.
She’s dropping her new Audrey Hepburn project in just a few weeks which features the lead single, “Charades”. Until then, she’s released a new video for the track, directed by Atlanta photographer Derek Blanks.
In the new visual, Chrisette shows off her silhouette and beautiful face in a series of high-contrast shots reminiscent of a 1930s film noir. With the help of her chocolate co-star, she evokes the sensuality of the track into her video while singing:
“Don’t play me. I’m not a show.
I know you did it before.
I’m not that girl.
No, I’m not that broad.
Yes get a no.
Respect me or you better get gone.
I’m not about that life dot come period.”

New Video: Kelly Rowland – ‘Ice’

Back in the days of Destiny’s Child, Beyonce stated in quite a few interviews that Kelly Rowland was obsessed with eating ice. So it was only fitting that she made a song about ice, but with a different spin.
In the video, for her new track, which marks the first single off of her forthcoming album, Year Of The Woman, Kelly shows off her amazing body in sexy outfits while she sings about her man’s love being cold as ice, but also so very hot.
Yes to that man’s beautiful body, the choreography and Kelly’s big Diana Ross hair.

Nicki Minaj Talks Mariah Carey Feud On ‘My Truth’, Goes In On Barbara Walters

So that drama between Nicki Minaj and Mariah Carey was for real for real? No publicity stunt here.

Last night on the second installment of Nicki Minaj’s new reality show, My Truth, she was given the opportunity to detail what happened behind-the-scenes of the American Idol drama from her point of view.  While talking to Young Money’s Mack Maine at the studio, she tells him that Mariah kept making a lot of passive aggressive comments towards her which caused her to reach her boiling point and snap.
I just know that I had reached my boiling point.Twenty minutes before that happened, she egged me on and I was like, ‘You know what? Let me go.’ I walked off. I stormed off the stage because I didn’t want to do that. So, I left, and when I came back it was another jab and I said, ‘Okay, now I’m gonna show you…’ She’s admitted that she did not want another female doing the show. Thinking somebody’s coming to steal her shine, nitpicking, and I don’t do well with that passive aggressive s–t. I stay away from mother f–kers. I work and keep it moving. I don’t f–k with the people in the business, but I did the show today and it was good. I made it clear like, if you do that again, I’m gonna do this again. Like, I’m not gonna allow it anymore. I can’t.
She also went in on Barbara Walters for going on The View and telling the studio audience that Mariah told her that Nicki threatened to shoot her.  According to Nicki, Barbara Walters could have called her to get her side but refused to because she’s a little black girl that raps.
I really don’t feel bad for yesterday. Then I hear that Mariah went to Barbara Walters with some more fabrication.  Telling Barbara Walters that I said something about a gun, which everyone knows I’m way smarter than that. Like, wow. I was like, ‘Really?’ My jaw was like open and I was in shock. I’ve never in my life said anything regarding a gun.
I did not say anything right away. I wanted everything to blow over, but you picking up TMZ and Barbara Walters…and now you’ve done opened a can of worms. Am I not good enough for you to get my side because I’m a little black girl that raps? Because if I was J.Lo, you would’ve called J.Lo’s camp. Are we not good enough for you now Barbara? Because you wasn’t even there when I was on the show, Barbara. So I guess I’m not good enough, I’m only good enough to tell people that I’m unpredictable when you don’t f–king know me.
Why would I want to have a rift with someone that I have looked up to my whole life. I’ve loved her. I even told her that in the meeting. I’m happy that Mariah’s on the panel because I think that’s a great thing. You’ve got one of the greatest singers that ever sang ever in the world. Ain’t nothing wrong with that, but the fact that you find something wrong with me being on there? That’s why there’s an issue.
Obviously it’s another ploy to get me off the show.[...]And ain’t nobody gon’ run me off that motha f–kin’ show.”

Rihanna Poses Nude For GQ’s ‘Men Of The Year’ Issue

Let’s get one thing clear. Rihanna will always give boob tease for GQ.  Always.
She’s giving us deja vu on the cover of GQ Magazine’s “Men Of The Year” Issue where she poses with only a jacket covering her shoulders and her hands strategically covering her cookies.  The cover marks history for GQ as Rihanna is the only female that has ever been included on the “Men Of The Year” list.  Today, she posted the photo up on her instagram with the caption:
GQ’s man of the year?! When will your fave? #historih
Ironically, posting up photos on her twitter almost got her in a bit of trouble last week. Those super sexy photos that she took with Kate Moss for V Magazine weren’t supposed to see the light of day until next year, but they ended up going viral after Rihanna posted them on her twitter.  The magazine released a statement expressing their disappointment while saying that the images were supposed to appear in the March 2013 issue of the magazine.
It is an unfortunate case that these images were prematurely leaked, which is becoming a more prevalent issue within the industry. While we don’t condone what has happened, we are beyond excited to have gotten these two icons of music and fashion together for such a beautiful shoot. This is just a taste of all of the fabulousness that awaits in the March 2013 issue.”

[Video] Chris Brown Chats With Terrence J

Terrence J hasn’t even officially started his new gig as the co-host of E! News yet and already he’s sitting down with big names for candid interviews.  He recently sat down for a rare interview with Chris Brown and got the tea on the good deeds that Chris has been dedicating himself to lately.  During the interview, Chris chatted about his new foundation, Symphonic Love, as well as his desire to give back, his greatest accomplishment and why he felt the need to speak up in court during a hearing recently.Check out a few highlights from the interview plus video below:
On his charity, the Symphonic Love Foundation
This is all about art and love. I just wanted to do something with the kids. Everybody always wants to do a charity event, they always go for everything else but my heart is with the kids. Because everybody looks up to me. I can say I’m a role model in a way but I definitely want the kids to be able to see that I’m doing the right thing and giving back and I want them to have the same opportunity that I had with the art, with music and with singing.
On wanting to speak in court recently before his lawyer shut him down
Yeah I kind of talk too much in court. I wanted to say ‘Well judge I can…’ but he was like ‘No, don’t you say nothing.’
On what he would perform in court if given the chance
“Please don’t judge me.” Yes, how about that!?
On something that people do not know about Chris Brown
That’s a good question. I love that question. I would just say that I’m 100 percent dedicated to everything that I do [...] I want to embody everything that’s positive.
On his greatest accomplishment
Well, I’ve accomplished all that I need to accomplish in my life as far as me being able to say I can successfully sing. I can dance onstage with the greatest. At the end of the day, when I need to be great, is when people can say I’ve helped out the world. It first starts here, helping myself, but what I want to do is bring peace to the world.

Nas And His Father Star In New Gap Ad

How amazing is it to see Nas in a commercial ad campaign?
The Hip Hop star poses with his father, jazz musician Olu Dara, for Gap’s new 2012 holiday campaign. The advertisement is a part of a series of ads with the theme, “Love Comes In Every Shade.” Nas and his father’s segment is titled, “Fatherly Love” and there will be other advertisements starring Michael J. Fox and The Cast of NBC’s The New Normal that will focus on “Puppy Love”, “Modern Love” and “Best Friend Love.”
His former manager Steve Stoute, author of The Tanning Of America, definitely approves this message.

Chris Brown Covers The November Issue Of Prestige

Chris Brown swore off interviews in 2012 but gave the green light to the November issue of Hong Kong’s Prestige Magazine. Don’t expect him to dish on his love triangle between Rihanna and Karroach, the interview was pretty cut and dry with questions pertaining to his career only.
Who He Is & What He Stands For:
As a 23-year-old young entertainer, I want the world to see my art and hopefully be inspired by it, promote positivity with what I do now – with painting, with fashion, with directing, with creativity as far as videos and cinema. I want to have people admire that and hopefully have people follow in my footsteps.

On Crossing Genres:
Definitely with Fortune that’s the direction I wanted to go, but even with the F.A.M.E. album. What I wanted to do was not set the bar with a certain kind of style. I didn’t want people to say. “He’s just R&B.” Yes, I will sing an R&B song. But then I’ll do a pop song, then I’ll do a song with a country kind of feel, a reggae feel. I always want to be eclectic with my music. I don’t think music has a race. I think music has a soul and it’s just a feeling. What evokes the set of emotions from you is what I try to bring out…whatever flows, whatever I feel, I just write.
What Fans Should Know About Him:
Just how involved I am with everything. I think a lot of people, a lot of artists, they get the glamour and glitz and everything else is already set for them. You see it and you say, “Oh man, it’s perfect.” But everything is already written. For me, it’s all just straight from thin air. I hear a song [claps his hands] – that’s my concept. When you hear my records, it’s really me writing. It’s really my emotions. It’s really me behind the cameras, directing those videos. It’s me making the decision on what singles we put out. Being the CEO. A real businessman at 23. That’s what I want to show my audience. The generation that we’re in – we’re a lazy generation. The kids in my generation are not as hyper. The work ethic isn’t there. The attention span is short. But I think if they can see me do it at 23 and have all this stuff going on – and still have fun while I’m doing it – who’s to say they can’t?

Evelyn Lozada Wants to Jump Into the Fitness Game

looks like Evelyn Lozada is ready to stretch out that 15 minutes as long as she can…
According to TMZ, the former Mrs. Ochocinco wants to try her hand at the world of fitness.
The “Basketball Wives” star has signed on to endorse an organic and caffeine free energy shot called youthH2O. We’re told the deal was for a whopping six-figures, but Lozada has her eyes set on bigger things.
Our sources say Lozada is also close to signing on to create her own brand of workout videos as well as a deal to become the face of a workout equipment company.
Whether you’re a fan of Ev or not, there’s no denying that her body is on point. I think it’s safe to say that her and that six-pack know a thing or two about working out and staying in shape.

Nene Leakes Bathes In Diamonds For Ebony’s Power 100 Issue

Nene Leakes is somewhere blasting The Throne’s “Who Gon’ Stop Me”.
There are not many people who can stretch their reality show fame past 15 minutes but Nene Leakes is doing it and doing it well.   She’s covering Ebony magazine’s Annual Power 100 issue while flaunting a tub full of diamonds, ice on her neck, a glass of bubbly and a smile.  [Nothing screams, "I'm Rich B-tch" better than diamonds.]
Proving that reality show fame  isn’t all bad, Nene quickly became a stand out star on Real Housewives of Atlanta which led to a recurring role on Glee as well as  NBC’s The New Normal.  She also took a page out of Bethenny Frankel’s book this year and partnered with a licensing agency which will help her launch a clothing and accessories line.  Move over, She by Sheree.
This year alone, she’s been featured in Vogue, US Weekly and has covered both The Hollywood Reporter and Ebony Magazine.
