“just kicked out of a radio station frm a PD who had a problem w/ me speaking on liquor stores that are by elementary schools in Delaware. In 17 years I hv NEVER been kicked out of a radio station.. Because I have a problem w/ liquor stores being across from elementary schools?
I was also told that the PD made them ERASE my interview so that NO ONE could HEAR me SPEAK on the issue of the liqour stores near kids.
According to KISS 101.7 PD Tony Quartarone he felt as though Tyrese disrespected the listeners by calling them ‘homies’ :
“Tyrese was not kicked off the air for pointing out that liquor stores should not be located near schools … I totally agree with that. But … he proceeded to downgrade my audience by calling them ‘homies.’”
Tony went on to say that Tyrese was being condescending with his language, and then was asked to leave the building. He had made the decision that until Tyrese apologizes for his behavior and tweets, his music will not be played on KISS airwaves.
Tyrese, however, could care less. He tweeted:
The PD has been trying lies from that station.. None of the people at ur station like you.. And Delaware is gonna take good care of you..
He also called into ‘TMZ Live’ to tell his side of the story and he said that he didn’t care one way or another about his music being taken off of the stations rotation.

On his diss towards Jay-Z & Beyonce:
I know for a fact, music is about perception. You can’t do anything but perceive what you hear. If I know that for a fact, I can never be upset about someone’s reaction to it. I’m not gonna say I don’t know what will happen before I say it [on record]. I do know what will happen. I am aware of it. It is what it is.On whether he knew the repercussions for making a jab at Jay:
Well, I’m a man. I believe as a man you should know that. Every man should know the repercussions and consequences behind whatever they do before they do it. And of course, I know there won’t be any repercussions behind what I did.If he sees Drake as competition:
I don’t look at it like that. Drake is my artist. If he wasn’t my artist, then yeah maybe. But that’s my artist. He’s not [just] a friend. We’re more than friends. It’s business. It would be impossible for it to be a competition. I mean, I’m the guy’s boss. [Source]

I welcomed the opportunity to introduce, through comedy, this idea of therapy, which has been this ‘hush hush’ thing in our culture.”

Michael Jackson’s personal assistant took the witness stand on the second day of Conrad Murray’s involuntary manslaughter trial in Los Angeles.
Michael Amir Williams testified that Jackson’s former doctor called him frantically on the morning of June 25, 2009 begging him to send help for Jackson, who lay dying in the bedroom of a rented Holmby Hill mansion.
“He said, ‘Get here right away, Mr. Jackson had a bad reaction. Get somebody up here immediately,”’ Williams said.
Williams testified that he called Jackson’s bodyguard, Alberto Alvarez, who was outside, and told him to get up to the 2nd floor bedroom to check on Jackson.
Williams said Jackson had previously given strict orders that only Jackson and the children were allowed on the 2nd floor of the mansion.
“I told [Alvarez], ‘I don’t know what’s going on, but you have to go inside the house,’” said Williams. “I remember him walking, and I said, ‘Are you there, yet.’ He said, ‘No.’ I said, ‘Well run, hurry.‘”
Williams said he arrived at the mansion about 30 to 40 minutes later, in time to see Jackson being loaded into an ambulance.
“It was real frantic,” Williams said. “I got there and saw the gurney coming down the stairs. I remember seeing (Murray) talking to medics.”
He said after learning that Jackson had been pronounced dead, he and Murray stood in a hallway making small talk about how horrible the situation was.
He said Murray begged him for a ride back to the mansion to remove Jackson’s bleaching cream from his bedroom.
“He said ‘there’s some cream in Michael’s room that he wouldn’t want the world to know about,’” said Williams. “He requested that I give him a ride back to the house so the world wouldn’t know about the cream.”
Williams said he denied Murray’s request to give him a ride back to the mansion. He said he told Murray a story about the police taking his keys.
“‘We looked at every possible avenue legally,’” the source reported Obama said. “‘There was not one there.’”
“‘It was a state case and I could not intervene because it wasn’t federal,’” another source reported Obama said.
The sources also revealed that President Obama talked about the Troy Davis case at a private lunch meeting of approximately 10 black broadcasters.
Obama said the only reason why he spoke about Harvard’s Henry Louis Gates’ case, was because he was asked by a reporter, Obama told one source.
What’s more, Obama also said that the only reason why his administration spoke out about an illegal immigrant’s case, Humberto Leal Garcia Jr., in July was because it was an international issue, where his rights were violated.
Sure, the president could have simply spoken out about Davis, the source said, but it would not have done anything.
The president reportedly didn’t want to turn it into a campaigning issue. He allegedly told one of the sources:
“‘I don’t want to make this man’s death political for me.’”
