Beyonce’s joyful baby news is shoring up her rocky marriage to rap mogul Jay Z, and smoothing over her troubled relationship with her estranged father, insiders say. While Beyonce toured Europe this summer, Jay Z was spotted partying in the Big Apple with model Selita Ebanks on July 20 and at club 1Oak with a bevy of beauties on July 8.
“When she was on a break, Beyonce called Jay out on his party-boy behavior,” the source said. “He tried to slough it off as part of the music business, but she told him that as a father-to-be he needed to act like a family man. After a heart-to-heart, Jay Z committed himself totally to Beyonce and their baby.”
“Mathew was the last of Beyonce’s inner circle to learn about hte pregnancy, and he was furious” said the source. “But he’s come around, and Beyonce believes the baby news has brought them back together.

Nicki Minaj, Ciara, Robin Thicke
R&B singer Robin Thicke was spotted shopping with his son at Bristol Farms in Los Angeles yesterday. Robin was amused because the paparazzi mistook him for someone named Chris Hemmsworth. Robin’s cute tow-headed tyke, Julian Fuego Thicke, turned 17 months old today (Sept. 6). Mommy is biracial actress Paula Patton.
Camera shy pop star Nicki Minaj, 29, tried to hide her face as she walked through LAX Airport yesterday. She wore her green weave under a pink Barbie hat with matching green Hunter wellington boots. I still don’t know how she gets those fake butt pads through security. Don’t they check butt pads for hidden explosives?
R&B singer Ciara, 25, was seen returning to her New York City hotel yesterday. She was wearing that lacefront wig with the soft curls that everyone loves. On last night’s episode of “La La’s Full Court Life,” La La’s lesbun cousin Dice admitted she’s in a committed relationship. She didn’t say who the chick was. But there is an upcoming episode that will address Dice and Ciara’s relationship (if the scenes don’t end up on the cutting room floor). We can’t say how we know all of this. But stay tuned!
Was Imani Out Of Line Calling Draya “Worthless” On Basketball Wives L.A.?
This week’s “Angry Birds” aka Basketball Wives L.A. featured Laura Govan and Malaysia Pargo apologize for their trifling behavior fighting in a restaurant on the first episode. However not everyone was apologetic in the second episode — namely Draya who defended her days working the pole as no big deal after Imani questioned her morals. “Yeah, I showed my boobs for money — whoopty do” she added that maybe Imani’s boobs weren’t as nice as hers and that’s why she wasn’t comfortable showing them. The topic came up again in a session with a life coach (after the girls decide Draya needs to be rescued from her immoral lifestyle) after a game where each woman was asked to use an adjective to describe their peers, when Draya’s adjectives are read they are mostly negative — Sneaky, Combative, Animated and Worthless… the game’s supposed to be anonymous but Jackie quickly owns up to her adjective and the others follow suit leaving Imani to admit she called Draya worthless for reasons she doesn’t want to go into in this forum. The last scene of the show is the girls showing up for Draya’s party — and she isn’t very nice.
In the preview for next week’s episode we see Imani and Draya have a sit down where Draya defends the stories about her son’s neglect by saying he’s never been taken away from her. At this point we’ve all heard the story of Draya leaving her son home alone to heat up microwave meals — so between that and her unapologetic attitude about her stripper past — is she really worthless? Or is this something only time will tell?
