Cynthia: NeNe and I are friends on & off the show. She has shown me nothing but love and loyalty. We connect because we are both strong and independent. There is zero jealousy and zero insecurity. We lift each other when we are down, and applaud each other when we are up. I love NeNe because she owns who she is, and I respect that. My Husband and NeNe also connect for the same reasons. Peter and NeNe are both straight shooters, and always keep it real. They are friends because they say what they mean and never apologize for being themselves. I love both for that.

JOHN LEGEND ON NEW ‘LAS VEGAS’ ISSUE + PROPOSES TO GIRLFRIEND, CHRISSY

Soul singer John Legend is on the cover of Las Vegas Magazine‘s latest citywide issue. The 32-year-old musician/songwriter will be performing in the Nevada city on New Year’s Eve at The Pearl at Palms, with the after-concert party being held at the hotel’s Moon nightclub.

In related news, word on the web is that Mr. Legend proposed to his lovely girlfriend, model Chrissy Teigen during the Christmas holiday:

Kelly Rowland is no stranger to getting those international checks, so it’s no surprise that she’s been named global ambassador for luxury watch designer TW Steel’s 2012 campaign.

Yes, the original Destiny’s Child member can add watch designer to her list of accomplishments because she will be releasing her own signature styles through the Dutch company in 2012. The company recently held a party in her honor at The Box in SoHo, where Kelly dressed casually while rocking some TW Steel on her arm as she posed for photos with celebrity guest Estelle. Of the collab, she says:

“This is so exciting, especially when you naturally become a fan of the brand, which is what happened here. I think every woman should definitely rock a TW Steel especially the way we are going to design in the new year. It’s going to be so, so sexy, so stylish, so next level. I love it!

Nicki Minaj and her boyfriend/ hypeman Safaree ‘Scaff Beezy’ Samuels are now proud owners of matching his and her Bentley Continental GT’s in pink and red. A proud Scaff Beezy tweeted photos of his new Matte Red car earlier this month with the caption:

‘S/O to my New Bent…Matte Red Only 1 In USA! Continental GT…”Even tho I hate it dey force me to 2get da new bent’.

Solange, Her Boyfriend and Julez In Paris

The holidays may be wrapping up, but it looks like Solange, her son Julez and her video director boyfriend of three years Alan Ferguson are still vacationing and enjoying some time off in the country. The singer posted a series of photos today on her blog of the trio and friends soaking up some sun away from the hussle and bussle of city life. This past Summer, Solange and her boyfriend spent a month in Paris, living like locals. Of the experience, she writes:

I spent a month in Paris this past summer with Julez and Alan. I have spent much time there over the years… But not ever until I really “immersed” myself there, did I really fall deeply in love with the city. I will always remember the simple pleasures of our everyday living. Going in the morning for bread, hanging laundry on the close line in the shower, Julez negotiating the cost of getting my hair braided by locals, (his French saved us in many instances such as these), Buying the french bootleg “Cars 2″ Dvd in the Metro Station…(Only to arrive home to the Cars 2 Blank Version). We rented a small charming apartment in the 10th.. And ate and drank our way through beautiful memorable days.
