Rob Kardashian loves to show love for his girlfriend Rita Ora all
over his twitter timeline,
but she’s definitely not returning the favor. Or at least while she is
trying to promote her new project. It seems as though she’s skipped the
Kardashian manual of public relationships and instead is
reading from her label boss Jay-z and his wife’s Beyonce handbook of keeping their private life private.
She’s covering the newest issue of Complex
Magazine (in her signature skirt/dress and sneaker combo) and inside, she downplays her relationship with Rob Kardashian.
I mean, it’s not really a relationship. It’s not that
intense. He’s a cool guy. We’re close. We’re good friends. I got his
back and he’s got mine. To me, it doesn’t matter who you are or where you’re from—if you’re a good person and you got my back, I got yours. It’s that easy for me.
Rita also chats it up about Rihanna in the
interview. Although it’s been hard for her to shake off the comparisons to Ri, she gave her mad props
on her work ethic in the magazine while blaming
the media for trying to put them
against each other:
I admire Rihanna. She works her ass off. She hasn’t had a break
and she has given people hit after hit after hit. That work ethic and
discipline is hardcore.That’s the kind of sh-t that I want to do. That I
will do….
Rita on tweeting the photo of her and Rihanna with the caption, ‘@rihanna hatin a$$ biatch!!! Mwah!!!!’
People were like, ‘What the f-ck! Everyone thought that we hated each other, but the whole thing was created by the media.
That’s what’s so funny. [...] We made a joke out of it. It’s love. Roc
Nation is such an incredible, unique team, especially in the music
industry. Everyone genuinely loves and cares about each other.
Maybe those two will do a track together one day, so we know it’s real. Bad Bishes unite!
