It seems that Drake’s new music video has angered the Jamaican tourism officials who object to the video’s violent image of the Caribbean island.
The video for “FInd Your Love”, which features Drake’s first attmept at singing all the way through a track, was directed by Anthony Mandler. The video features Drake, Maliah Michel, and a drug lord named “Puffy” who directs Maliah to shoot Drake’s character n the head.
“Care has to be taken by all, including our creative artists, in portraying images of our destination and people,” a Jamaican tourism official says. “Gun culture, while not unique to Jamaica, is not enhancing (the island’s image).”
