Angela Bassett doesn’t appear to be affected by Father Time. At 52 years-young, the ‘What’s Love Got To Do With It?’ actress will be gracing the cover of Essence Magazine’s March 2011 issue. She will be one of four black actresses to be honored at Essence magazine’s Fourth Annual Black Women in Hollywood Luncheon.
Bassett as well as Viola Davis, Loretta Devine and Jennifer Hudson will be recognized for inspiring positive images of African-American women around the world. The event will take place on February 24th in Hollywood, California. Kudos to them all!
